STYLE STARTS WITH A JACKET

Jackets are the most important piece of your wardrobe, they tell people a little more about who you are: tailored, romantic, athletic, serious or maybe frivolous.
Pick a color that brings color to your face and says look at me. The best color is the one that makes you feel good.

Your jacket can give your body the shape that makes you look great.
Our arms are a little "loose" after 40, but a jacket is the perfect cover-up.
Camouflage a thickening waist, full bust line, wider hips and narrower shoulders with just the right fit.

Plaid jackets are seen everywhere this season for the update fabric.
If you are full busted or broad shouldered think twice. Think fitted, peplum or the boxier cropped shapes. Don't stop at plaids. Tweeds add multiple direction to your clothes.

UNLIMITED DRESSES ABOUND

The greatest choices of dresses are here for the choosing this Spring 2009 From soft feminine lace to structured suity dresses, get the feeling of a dress with some great soft blouses that have the feminine touch. Just enough to feel sexy.

Florals in every color mix or prints will add just the right bit of excitement to your closet.

Try slouchy shapes that are comfy.

COUNTRY COMFORTABLE

Designers have not forgotten about comfort with style. Not so much a western chaps and cowboy boot look, but a bit of tweed, sweatering, corduroy and wonderful wool.
Predominant colors are rust, green and browns in all flavors.

Don't try over sized or too big. Keep it in proportion with a nipped waist jacket or vest. Get out your riding boots or booties. Longer skirts have not been seen for a while but work with a country look.

This is the season for your warm scarves. Try a muffler a couple times around your neck or try a shawl over your blaze.
